This model was constructed under a two hour time limit, out of sixteen equally sized paper strips, under the auspices of constructing a scale model of a pavilion to be placed on the campus, with the final design to be constructed out of salvaged steel. Inciting tactile interaction with the sculpture was  encouraged. Afterwards, the blind contour and figure ground study of the model allowed for deeper exploration of the shapes contained within the model.
