This project applies architectural drawing techniques to a botanical subject- Canna indica in bloom. Both the final color presentation and the black and white outline contain different lineweights according to architectural convention, the final product is embellished with watercolor on bristol board. The intent of the project is to convey multiple levels of information about a complex structure in a way that is intuitive and not overwhelming to the viewer.
